Very Good in pastel rose colored boards w/beige cloth backstrip. 48 pp. 20 color plates. Extensive foxing to endpapers, modest foxing to a few interior pages, spotting. Still, a bright,fresh copy. Illustrated with 20 color -plates by Philip Rickman, each with an imprinted tissue-guard. Eugene V. Connett contributed the chapter on 'Shooting In America'. Issued without a jacket, Connett ordered 125 copies for his Derrydale imprint,added a special box and sold them at $40.00 a piece. Scribner's then jumped in ,slapped their imprint on the title-page and produced a knock-off of the English version. One of the last great sporting books before WWII. 4to (p)
